They lack empathy severely. I’ve had several issues with them that resulted in me contacting the superintendent. I basically have the superintendent number on speed dial at this point. The overall attitude of the school is terrible and you can tell they have favoritism. I also feel like they are prejudice. This school might have a little money but not all money is good money. They lack spirit. The school is ran like a corporation vs an establishment for young minds to learn and be creative. The school should be working with the parents and students for the betterment of everybody but instead it feels like they’re working against us and if we don’t fit into their little box or bow down and kiss the ground they walk on they’re gonna have an issue with you. Compared to the school my other daughter goes to, you can tell they love their jobs and really truly care about the students and well being of everyone. They’re communicative and kind and understanding. Nobody is perfect but at the very least we should all be kind to and respect one another and try to be understanding of one another. Considering this a school and everybody working here has an education, you’d think they know this. I guess good character isn’t built through good grades.Parent Review6mo ago13 Reviews - Greenville Classical Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI strongly agree that the curriculum at Southside Christian School is appropriately challenging and rigorous. My children are consistently pushed to grow academically while still receiving the support they need to succeed. The coursework encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and accountability, which has helped them build both confidence and independence in their learning.I’ve also appreciated that the rigor is balanced, teachers are intentional about meeting students where they are and helping them progress without feeling overwhelmed. As a result, my kids are not only keeping up with expectations but are genuinely engaged and motivated to do their best. Overall, the academic challenge has been a key part of their growth and preparation for future success.Parent Review1mo ago17 Reviews - Five Oaks Academy Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe campus is absolutely gorgeous with its landscaping and there are a handful of great teachers here but without strong leadership, the school remains in the dark ages. We would not return or recommend it. They couldn't meet the needs of our child and hadn't established a healthy and positive environment in which education could take place. "Policies" if there were any at all other than dress code, were applied inconsistently. There's no independent board or council with clear cut separation of duties from the administration and no transparency for the budget. Our child was in Montessori in Germany and that classroom looked and operated very differently from this one. We discovered there are other Montessori schools in the area that have a more classic and professional approach. There's great potential at this school but it will require strong leadership to bring it back up to par. If science and math are important to you, look elsewhere. At the time our child was a student, there wasn't a single teacher on the campus who had a background in science or a related subject. The integrated Spanish language program was excellent and taught by a very kind and loving native speaker from Mexico. Our child adored her and came home singing songs in Spanish. More teachers who are subject experts with real world knowledge would make a world of difference.Parent Review7y ago30 Reviews - Palmetto Prep

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbiding Peace Academy is a wonderful, family-centered school that provides a well-rounded faith-based education. I feel that my children are known, nurtured, challenged, and safe. They have art, music, field trips, and plenty of outside time each day. My children have grown in academics, discipline, character, and self-confidence. I feel like it has given my daughter a solid foundation as she heads into middle school after 4 years at Abiding Peace. I’m very grateful we have gotten to be a part of such a special school and community.Parent Review8y ago7 Reviews - Hope Academy
