Crestview Manor

Poor. No communication, difficulties getting help with special needs, teachers don’t listen, don’t act like they care. School nurse doesn’t call when she comes into the office three times in one day for belly pain and headache. Very disappointed and frustrated with this elementary school

this school has so much to offer. they have a full staff of dedicated professional who want the children to succeed not only in education but in life skills and manners as well. the principal and teacher go above and beyond for the children and there are many activities for the children to be involved in in the community

I personally don’t think the ratings reflect the ability of the teachers or the commitment to teaching at this school. I think the low rating is because parents do not prepare their children for school and do not work with their children at home to further their learning. I highly doubt this rating is a reflection of the personnel at the school. My son is currently enrolled at the school and he is in the gifted program and is academically ahead of most students (at any elementary school) in his grade. The teachers and personnel at chambers hill elementary do a great job (and are doing equivalent things to teachers at other schools that are highly rated) at keeping the students engaged and getting family involved to events and learning. It really boils down to what happens inside the home outside of school hours. You need to challenge your kids and be engaged at home- it’s not rocket science..
