"I have lived here for two years and I have lots of friends here. There is a neighborhood group that specializes in re-homing un-wanted goods. Which really helps out with raising children. "

Vernon is an amazing community. We love that it’s an IB school, and have been impressed by the ways in which each unit is incorporated in all they do. I’ve never been one to go by ratings alone, so before coming to Vernon we asked friends and neighbors about their experiences. We went to information meetings and social events before kindergarten, and were so impressed. We have never looked back, and feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to be a part of this school community. There are always ways in which we can do better. I appreciate the school’s desire to grow and change, to better serve all students. I appreciate the efforts to make decisions with equity at the forefront. Our children will be better human beings thanks to these formative years at Vernon. So very thankful.
