"Great place to live in, you don’t have to move out of the state in order to live in a great area. In addition to that you’re not far from the city and there’s plenty of mass transit. I recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to live there."

"Very convenient and walkable. Very accessible and mass transit is available. There are a ton of families and things to do for families within the community. "

"Dog owners don’t pick up their dogs poop. Also they’re a lot of rude people who live and commute in the area. "

"A lot of time dogs are out of the owners control. A lot of medium to large sized dogs that pull and scare dogs that are much smaller. Also the possibility of being blamed for not picking up dog feces when in fact it’s the other people in the neighborhood. There is a lot of grass available for walking but it’s full of feces from other dogs going in it so it makes it difficult to walk your dog without stepping in something "

"It’s a two fare zone. You need a bus to get to the train or an express bus to the city. You can drive into the northern part of Manhattan in 14 minutes (no traffic) 40 minutes (traffic). "

"Best schools in area, quiet part of the bronx due to many private house, restaurants, plazas, numerous supermarkets, no street cleaning!! No moving cars twice a week !! All big parks have been updated like new!! Clason point city boats leaving every 30min-hour everyday. Subway close and buses are everywhere. Best place in the bronx period!! Water views are best! Come to soundview! "

"I have lived here for 5 years and there are ups and downs to the community. Overall it’s great, however small things like not picking up poop, car vandalism, and graffiti bring down its appeal. "

"There’s events in my neighborhood. Banks, restaurants and local bars. There is a even a cigar shop. Macy’s and marshal’s is a 25 min walk. All the best Indian food, Mexican , Dominican and Jamaica food close by. I have two tracks near by and a little long bike path in soundview park. The track is usually filled with people playing soccer but in the morning it’s available."

"The neighborhood is pretty quiet unless you live near the train station and with the exception of music being played but that’s just apart of the culture. The parks are being fixed up but people need to curb their dogs."
