"Pelham Gardens is probably the best area to live in the Bronx. Not much to complain here. A nice park, quiet neighborhood. Is so quiet it looks like a rural area."

"a lot of dog owners in this area, Perlman parkway is nearby where they can go for a nice long walk or let them run on the grass. Dog owners around the area are also pretty responsible, I've never had to pick up after anyone's dog in front of my house. "

"None. No one does anything note worthy here. It’s just a comfy and safe place to live. Everyone minds their business and it’s all good. "

"It has its good areas and bad area. The closer you are the William ridge road the nicer. The further down away you are from Williams ridge road the worse it gets. "

"Lots of cats, sometimes there are raccoons, the neighborhood feels pretty safe, but surrounding pelham gardens isnt the best area so I would keep that in mind. Not many kids to play with at all. Most people who live here are older upper middle class."

"it's very safe for children and is mostly occupied by families and older adults. parking is great and public transportation is local but it's best to have a car. I'm unaware of the schools in the neighborhood and if they are any good. "

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBery unsafe school due to the district 11 an the principal assistant principal runing it . As beautiful as my area is an hiw much I paid to live here beautiful neighbors. Sad ppl runing this school I wouldnt trust runing any thing with children especially with special needs . Replace the supernatendants board of education district 11 an the principal an higher ups in this school get real honest trustworthy ppl that litterally have a real caring heart for all our children an patience an great postive rein forcement with speecial need kids . I just feel there are so many good ppl that should take the place of unsafe ppl that use thier tirle an take advantage of it . We safe schools that is part of the large amount in our rent an ect to let it be worth it to have safe neighborhood an schoolsParent Review2mo ago10 Reviews - Holy Rosary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIm a parent. And Holy Rosary School is a bad and terrible place. The classrooms are old and uncomfortable, the hallways feel crowded and noisy, and the whole building has a gloomy atmosphere that makes it hard to actually enjoy being there. Many of the staff members are mean and unhelpful. The principal is very strict and rarely listens to students. Some teachers often yell over small mistakes and make students feel stupid for asking questions. Others constantly shout during PE and embarrass kids who aren’t good at sports. Even the lunch staff can be rude when students ask for simple things.Overall, the school feels stressful instead of supportive. Homework is excessive, the rules feel unfair, and there is very little kindness from the adults. Students deserve a much better environment than this. If you are looking to enroll your child here, please do not. It won't benefit you or your child. Don't send them to this damn "holy" school.Parent Review1mo ago27 Reviews
