8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot a good school for a special ed student. The teacher’s are under qualified and hardly know how to do their job. I am very surprised that they were even hired to teach my child. It feels like the teacher is snitching on my child when it comes to her behaviors, no professionalism at all. It is a constant headache. I can’t wait to switch my daughter to a better school.Parent Review7mo ago21 Reviews - Joseph E Thiriot Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI previously worked with a first grade teacher now employed here. She was a big bully. She, along with a few other teachers, hoarded all the first grade supplies at our school. When they all moved to another school, all the Rowe first grade supplies mysteriously disappeared. No integrity....Other Review8mo ago13 Reviews - Dr. C Owen Roundy Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been a part of the Cornerstone Christian Academy family for 9 years. My son graduated in 2020 and my daughter has been a student from kindergarten through 8th grade. This school has been such a blessing to our family. Not only do they prepare children academically for the most sought after high schools in the valley, but also spiritually, emotionally, and physically for what ever they choose to do in life. The after-school Performing Arts program is second to none. Everything they do, they do in excellence. I highly recommend!!Parent Review2y ago49 Reviews - Wassell Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had a horrible experience and pulled our son out of this school after only 4 months. He had 5 different teachers in 4 months and there was no communication between them. We were told they did not accept students younger then 1 years old, and then 2 months in my son is with 9 and 10 month olds and so was moved up early. The lead teacher in his old room quit and they did not replace her. His other teacher was on maternity leave for a month or two and so he was bounced around through the other teachers. No consistency. The director told us she spent time in each classroom each week. She did not, because 3 months in she did not even know that we pack our own snacks, that are labeled for our son. When our son was moved to the next class up, a teacher in that class also quit, leaving a teacher alone again. Still with no plans to increase staff, as I was told. We did not allow our son to eat the pretzels or gold fish crackers or nutella. Front office staff assured me he wasn't. Yet on multiple times I witnessed him being given these items and even had the foreign teacher in his class asking me why he can't have these items. The last draw was when I picked my son up, being told they put the nutella in his lunch bag, since he couldn't have it and a parent had brought it in. Then I pick him up and his face is covered in nutella. Have you ever looked at the ingredients? #1 Sugar! On top of this he was given a spoon to eat pasta out of his thermos with, not his fork and it was not put on a plate as we had asked, we even provided the plate. This is due to when my son was moved into the new class, the old teacher did not communicate our wishes and restrictions with the new teacher. Then his new teacher quit and no one communicated with the other teacher. When we enrolled our son this school was listed on the AMS website as a recognized school, when we pulled him out it was not. I even had a teacher hound me many times asking that my son be allowed to have goldfish crackers, pretzels and junk food. When I told her no she asked why. I said because it was not nutritious. She said, "really, it's not?" The director does not spend time in each classroom each week as she says she does in the on boarding spiel. Many times when we asked what our son ate or how he slept and no one knew. This was brought up with the office. I would not recommend.Parent Review6y ago14 Reviews
