Do not send your child to this school. From the principal down, they are simply collecting a paycheck. Extremely “liberal” a lot of pink, and rainbows again from the principal down. The teachers are worksheet teachers. The students are fed worksheets and that is it. They have the option for a laptop there is not lesson plan attached. Racism is hidden but very much there. White teachers, Mexican Children w a few black kids mixed in. You have to go to another school to be able to see the shortcomings at Griffith, if your instincts as a mother are not there. I give the school 2 out of 10. The teachers are no good. From second grade on up

Our family has had an amazing experience at this elementary school. All five of my children have attended, and we couldn’t be happier. The campus is beautiful, the staff is caring and supportive, and there are so many after-school activities for students to get involved in. The school also does a wonderful job creating family engagement opportunities, which really makes you feel like part of a community. We are so grateful to be part of such a great school.

The entire staff, from principal, to school counselor, to teacher, to office admin. are the most amazing, compassionate CCSD employees I have ever dealt with. I have 2 children in CCSD, and have done my fair share of moving around Las Vegas and into Henderson. Previous schools attended were Twitchell ES and Gehring ES. Both schools, rated a 9/10 on this site, pale in comparison to Vegas Verdes ES. The teachers and administrative staff all truly love what they do, treat everyone equally, and teach our kids about respect and kindness. That's just for starters.

Great teachers, admin always available, Mr. Schraeder the new secular principal is topnotch.

The worst catholic school ever. This school used to be the best but since the new principal (Marisa) came in, it’s been going downhill. She hired unprofessional , unlicensed teachers. She’s the rudest person you can ever meet, she made the teachers life miserable and that reflects on our children. Teachers have ZERO passion for teaching, only they’re there for their paycheck. The very last thing they care about is our children education. Please don’t waste your time, hard earned money and energy as will earn nothing but stress. The reason why most parents choose catholic/ private school is because they want stress free but it’s totally the opposite.

The school may have changed its name, but it is still run by the same problematic staff. My child regularly came home in tears because of how they were treated, and there was clear favoritism among students. I was also informed by another parent that a teacher slapped her child’s hand in the younger classroom.The school does not follow state standards, and when my child returned to public education, they were significantly behind academically. While the school claims to offer an individualized approach, that support appears to be reserved only for a select few. The environment relies on fear rather than encouragement or support.I cannot imagine recommending this school. During my child’s time there, the overwhelming sentiment among parents was frustration and disappointment at best.
