4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience was horrible, Horrible staff members it was to the best of my availability to move far away so my daughter can be at a better school zone. Ver unprofessional staff. They only care for them selfs and not kids the teacher are good just the staff and it’s disrespectful that I put this school a one star just because of the front staff.Parent Review8mo ago10 Reviews - Gordon Mccaw Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could put a negative in SAFETY I would. Today 8/14/2025 the 2nd day of school for my son. I had a feeling during enrollment this was not the school for us. Im very intune and read people very quickly. I have a transfer pending to a school closer to us done before I even visited this school. Im in a pool on a waiting list apparently. 2nd day my son attends this school they LOST him. He was put on a bus I NEVER SIGNED FOR HIM TO RIDE. I picked him up his 1st day no problem because on his paper I listed he would be a PICK UP. Apparently if you are a few minutes late they place them on a bus. I was a few minutes late due to all the construction on Boulder and being from out of state just moved here didn't know how much traffic I was going to have to get through. I was about 8 min late at the most 10 mins. That doesn't even matter because my son was already ON A BUS being dropped off in a new STATE down streets we dont even know. He's 4th grade and is autistic and was put on a bus with endless possibilities to be dropped anywhere in 106 degree weather. He would've never known how to get home even if he did magically get dropped at the correct bus stop he's autistic and is completely new to this area and state. The school police was called Henderson police was being called the women in the office had no sensitivity towards what I was going through while I was in the office frantically irritated with my 11 yr old daughter next to me crying because she thought her baby brother was gone. When the called the bus that was assigned to him they told us he was NOT on the bus and 2 stops had already been done. I wanted to loose it literally loose it. I TOLD them call the 2nd bus and tell them to check for him STOP both busses. I was in that office frozen not knowing where to go search for him how soon the cops would appear wondering if he got off the bus at 1st or 2nd stop and was with dangerous strangers ready to take a 9yr old autistic child who is lost. Unbelievable is all I can say for this school but I knew I had a gut feeling this was not the school for us something about a place really speaks to you when you encounter the staff and how they handled the whole situation and how we even got to that situation. It felt unsafe it is unsafe don't trust this institution!!!!! The 1st day my son attended he came to me and immediately told me the teachers yell at you too much. I asked him well did you get in trouble and his response was no but they yell at all the kids.Parent Review8mo ago8 Reviews - Ulis Newton Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had the worst experience here with my child in special needs first year this year at this school first day of school fight breaks out in the middle of the school campus with all the students present and not one staff member intervened to stop them until the police got called then second incident there PE teacher was arrested for taking inappropriate photos of a special needs student who was non verbal when the incident accrued we didn’t get any information if our student was involved or around that person they notified us of this incident at 4:30pm after school hours so we couldn’t get any information after asking the next day and reaching out to staff and his teacher I still didn’t get any information till days laters to find out my son was around the individual from the principal days later then the last incident my son was assaulted by another student who isn’t in the special needs and much older there nurse called and proceeded to tell me my son fell off the play ground I could here my son saying no he was pushed after pushing for more information is when I found out my son was battered by a 5th grade student not one adult present for the incident including his aid who was supposed to be there right next to him they tried telling me my son tripped this student without doing any investigation me knowing my son doesn’t even know what tripping is or how to do it with him being special needs knew wasn’t true and they tried to down play it and lied until I should up the school waited 2 hrs to find out what happened the principal didn’t know I was the mother of the injured student in the lobby he proceeded to question the involved students right in front of me as the student tried tell him what happened he stopped him mid sentence and said he didn’t care about what happened he just wants to know if it was accident or not they didn’t care about what happened to my son especially since he was new that year and this student who did the injury had been there since kindergarten they completely dismissed my son after fighting to change schools his last day only one staff member actually said good bye to my son the front office lady ,his teacher the principal not the vice principal came out to say anything to my son on his last day In There care they don’t care about there students they just wanna cover things up don’t send your special needs kids there all they care about is there school not getting in trouble not our kidsParent Review6mo ago16 Reviews - Sue H Morrow Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible please parents if you are looking for your child to have the one of the best school experiences ever start by NOT enrolling them in Sue Morrow Elementary School. Pick your poison this school sucks and really should be shut down for how unsanitary it is. They mistreated my disabled child and will be undergoing a lawsuit soon!Parent Review1y ago17 Reviews - Lake Mead Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLMCA is a great school for developing children academically, socially, and spiritually. It is safe and partners with parents. LMCA also offers financial help for those that may need it. I highly recommend the school and you should definitely check it out!Parent Review1mo ago66 Reviews
