"We just bought our home in this neighborhood, about 8 months ago. The neighbor's are very friendly, quiet, and most homes are very well maintained. We are very happy here."
  • Brittnee S.
"This is a good place for people who are retired and wanting to live out their life but is not a place that’s good if you still have a family and kids to raise there is nothing to offer here or in kingman no opportunities "
  • Xxkierstynnxx
"I see dogs being walked often, but there are no dog parks or anything for them to play close by, would like to see on in the future "
  • Tghamilton97
"I've lived in Golden valley, Arizona for a long time. there are some sketchy people that live here. I actually live around mostly older people who are really nice. "
  • Tghamilton97
"literally nothing makes this community special besides how much land you can get. My neighbors down the road once found a drunk guy passed out in the ditch in front of their house"
  • Connie M.
"Not to crowded. Beautiful views. Close to shopping and entertainment on both ends of the town. One thing, to many dirt roads and they should be maintained better."
  • Britt S.
"Me personally I’ve been born in raised in kingman/Golden Valley I think that this place is perfect for older people people who are retired and don’t have any kids to raise personally as far as raising children here I wouldn’t recommend it there’s just nothing to offer for children here"
  • Xxkierstynnxx
"coyotes are wild and hungry. watch your pets and your children. they dont play around out here. "
  • Xxkierstynnxx
"Nothing, this is a dirt hole. no lights, no festivals, no get together, and the only fast food is a crappy sonic. "
  • Henson_r94
"I have lived in this area all my life. It can be rough with the heat but mostly it's alright. The people are mostly friendly and you have those who don't really talk to anyone they keep to them selves. "
  • Friend a.
"Keep your valuables locked up lots of druggies around. But on certain areas it’s retired vets. Not much to do around for children"
  • Elise H.
"Love this area! Tall trees, lots of animals, rolling hills, Mountains to look at and sunsets to DIE for!"
  • patrickforant
" A clean desert area. It is hot but not humid which makes all of the difference. Remember that Las Vegas is not a dry heat, I moved here from Melbourne Florida and love it. I only miss the beaches. Great for horses, farm animals or pets. You do not need a permit to have up to three farm animals and no known limit on personal chickens, I would say less than 100 is personal and I intend to have 30. There is no water mostly out here, as in plumbing, so you either need to haul or have it hauled. To have it hauled is $36 for a load last me 2 week and I wast e a lot. $2.50 if you havr e your own truck used only to haul water. The roads are bad, but not as bad as Indiana roads. I would not reccomend a BMW or sports car as a daily driver, unless you commute to work over the mountains. The people are real friendly and easy going. It is an open community where you will not be judged by race, creed or values, at least not any different that most places and a lot better than most. Every one ownes their property so no transient population moving in and out, just in the last few years. The average costs of property on this site is wron though. Most homes go for around $40,000 or less but need repair from wind damage mostly. There are a few very expensive homes out here that muck up the prices on the average. My home is brand new built 2005 and I paid $42,000 on 2 1/2 acres with a stall and horse pasture on the property."
