6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGoing on three years now and am looking forward to sending my other two to DRES when they are old enough. My child has been learning a lot and excited about it. He has friends across the spectrum and every kid is treated with the respect they deserve. I say this as a parent and fairly frequent volunteer, the staff care and the kids are happy.Parent Review1w ago10 Reviews - Wildwood Forest Elementary

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I normally don’t leave reviews, but I honestly feel obligated to speak up about my daughter’s experience at this school. While the older lady in the front office has always been kind, professional, and helpful, unfortunately I cannot say the same about the younger front office staff member. Her attitude and the way concerns are handled have been extremely disappointing and unprofessional. On top of that, my daughter’s experience with her teacher has also been stressful and frustrating throughout the school year. Communication has been poor, concerns have felt dismissed, and overall this has not been the supportive learning environment I expected for my child. The school also tests at one of the lowest levels in Wake County, which is very concerning as a parent looking for a strong academic environment for their child. No parent should feel uncomfortable every time they send their child to school, but sadly that has been our experience. I encourage parents considering this school to ask questions, pay attention to staff behavior, and truly advocate for their children.Parent Review1mo ago13 Reviews - River Bend Elementary

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think this is all i need to say. When i was a TA for kindergarteners as my elective, i overheard a very odd conversation. It was a first grade teacher across from my class who was speaking with one of the principals about how she was going to let a boy stay in her class after school instead of going to aftercare because of something that happened between him and someone else (i didn’t hear all of the details). While she explained her reasoning of saying how she is a parent and this is what she would want her child’s teacher to do for her, the principal proceeded to say that she isn’t allowed because that would make them look bad since they choose who works at NRCA. As the conversation continued, it started to sound like it was something that happened between the student and another. The principal than continued to state that the teacher needed to “understand that they are little sinners who haven’t been saved”. If that doesn’t make you not want to send your child there, i don’t know what will.Other Review1mo ago67 Reviews - All Saints Academy

He receives special education services and has made incredible progress under the care and attention of the supportive staff at Abbotts!Parent Review1y ago12 Reviews - Christian Life Academy
