8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is a kindergartener in the dual language program at BDS. She has had a terrific first year. She knew absolutely no Spanish at the beginning of the year. Now she can read and speak (authentically and fluently) in Spanish...at age 5! She is also reading exceptionally well in English. Her math skills are impressive. I have to give a huge shout out to her teachers, Mrs. Rosello and Mrs. Roscoe. We couldn't be more pleased. Our daughter has the sweetest classmates. The principal deeply cares about the school and the children. She believes in educating and loving the whole child. She values parents' thoughts and opinions, and she values her teachers. The PTO is awesome. So many dedicated families that truly value education and their children. They believe in BDS! Students become leaders and learners. This school has seen excellent growth. Sugarloaf is also a Title I school and multicultural with many supports from the community and families. There are parent day and evening events.Teacher Review3y ago3 Reviews - Heritage Hall International School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHeritage Hall is a phenomenal school, and I got a fantastic education over the ten years I attended. My mother has been a teacher here for 26 years, but I only had her for two years of elementary school. The rest of the time I was taught by various other teachers, all of whom provided me with a well-rounded and high-quality education. I attended this school from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade before being accepted to the Henderson County Early College (now the Innovative High School), which is a highly competitive academic program. When I started at the Early College I was more than ahead thanks to my time at Heritage Hall; in fact, every Heritage Hall student who has applied to the Henderson County Early College has been accepted. This school is smaller than traditional public schools and allows for invaluable one-on-one interaction with teachers, all of whom go above and beyond to help their students. I had a great education and was more than prepared for both high school and college. I am now a pre-med student, and I know that without this school and its incredible teachers, I would not be where I am today. I truly could not recommend this school enough, especially to students who would thrive in a more individualized education environment.Other Review7y ago5 Reviews - The Way Christian Academy
