My granddaughters ( all 3) have attended Fletcher since kindergarten and are now 2nd and 3rd graders. This school has went above and beyond for my granddaughters and our family since the beginning. I couldn't imagine putting them anywhere else at this point. They are doing quite well and are comfortable with the staff. I will admit I miss the previous principal,Mrs. Deaver,but find Mr. Haney to be just as pleasant and competent. He greets the children in the morning in the car rider line and sometimes in the afternoon as well. There are officers also around the school,and also help in the car rider line. I just can't say enough about them. I will be terribly saddened when my granddaughters leave middle school. Thank you Fletcher Elementary for making my granddaughters learning experience a safe,pleasant and exceptional one.

I go to the Macon campus of Veritas Classical Schools and can say in full confidence that I ADORE my school. I joined in the 10th grade, so I can't speak much for the elementary and middle school experience, but almost all of my peers actually love school and would highly recommend it to other students. It's an extremely small campus so everybody knows everybody. There's shockingly little drama for a highschool and bullying is non-existent. My teachers are all extremely-well learned (all humanities teachers for the highschool have PhDs if I remember correctly) and offer quality education. I went from hating school to absolutely loving it.As someone who struggles with ADHD, I was extremely worried that I would struggle to keep up or be ostracized from the others. However, while the workload is definitely a lot, it's not unreasonable and I still have time for my other hobbies and interests. Coming from a financially struggling family, Veritas has been exceedingly gracious at meeting us where we're at. The students here aren't overly cliquish or stuck up as I feared; contrarily, most everyone gets along and has their own little quirks (we ARE a bunch of homeschoolers, after all!).I could not recommend this school highly enough. I love it and hope to continue attending until I graduate, and potentially send my own children here someday. I never felt school pride until I came to VCS.The only instance in which I would not recommend sending your child here is if they have substantial learning disabilities. I know several children, including myself, who have ADHD or Autism and get by much better than in any other school, but if you have an IEP it might be a bit more difficult as they don't have any Special Ed teachers here. Otherwise, best school ever!!

Our experience with CGCS has left us deeply disillusioned by its lack of guidance and instruction our children received during the middle school grades. Despite our attempts to communicate with the school administration and teachers, the lack of instruction and individualized education persisted. Classrooms at CGCS are very crowed and over filled. This issue is particularly salient, because my children were not able to have questions answered in class and or support with their learning. Finally, the administration is not open to listen and or address these issues. I would not recommend CGCS for a middle school student.
