"I’m within walking distance of either the 90 or 95 bus routes, or when I want to bike, I can take Macklind. "

"It's super fast...takes me about 12-15min to get to the downtown area....there are two on- ramps to two major highways within a two mile radius! "
  • Alissa B.
"There is a couple of events that bring the community together. The fireworks on 4th of July is a good example"
  • Julie J.
"Quiet city neighborhood. Quick walk to “The Hill”, St Louis’s historic Italian neighborhood. Close to Forest Park and Missouri Botanical Garden. Easy access to downtown by car. "

"I moved to Southwest Garden about 9 months ago and I absolutely love it! It’s generally pretty quiet, but it’s close to all the best spots in the city (the hill, tower grove park, forest park, the grove). Everyone I’ve met who lives in the neighborhood are all very kind people. We all look out for each other, which makes it a very welcoming and nice place to live. "

"Block parties to get to know one another and the neighborhood! Block off Hereford by schnucks on Arsenal "

"Tucked away, quiet, but still with easy access to 64 and 44. Kingshighway can be pretty busy during rush hour, and it's not bike friendly at all (sidewalk only, if you value your life). Easy access to two fantastic parks as well as The Hill neighborhood, with its array of great restaurants."

"The neighborhood is perfect because it is close to the park and the Botanical Gardens. There is also a doughnut shop around the corner which I love to go to. "
