"We have lived in here for 10 year's. We love it. We have beautiful bird's, pesky squirrels and gorgeous barred owls. We can hear the music. Movies in Harriet park, tennis & basketball. Walking & biking lakes is great! We love it here"

"This is the perfect location for young families to empty nesters. The southside of Lake Calhoun is merely 2.5 blocks walk AND the bandshell at Lake Harriet is simply 4 blocks away. You can hear the music in the park from the porch (wrap around). Some of the best "eats" and ice cream are 4 blocks away in the quaint downtown of Linden Hills! "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLake Harriet Lower is an excellent K-3 school in the Minneapolis Public Schools. The academics are well taught and the teachers are very good. However, because it has a very low poverty level, it gets no "extra" resources from the district. Your taxes pay for all the MPS public schools, they don't go directly to Lake Harriet.Parent Review11y ago7 Reviews - Carondelet Catholic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had our kids go to this school and if I could do it over again I don’t think we would have sent our kids there. It is a small, wealthy, tight knit group with a few outliers. Many kids and parents are nice but more are not. They keep teachers around even if they are old and grumpy (gym teacher) and share their discontent with the kids. I would look at OLG or Anthony before deciding on sending your kids there. The principal situation has been constantly changing over the past 5 years. Teacher turnover rate is pretty high too. Very little diversity. If your kid had a disagreement with a peer which mine did, the principal did very little and was buds with the other kid’s parents so nothing was done. So for the Social Emotional piece, this school failed us. If this sounds personal it is. And it should be for you if you are reading this. You don’t get to have do-overs for your kid’s Elementary school and their experience there. This school is not really a place for education and prep, it’s more of a daycare with a few very good teachers.Parent Review8mo ago2 Reviews - Mps Metro C
