5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely hated this place the way teachers were horrible they always yelled at me and they clearly didn't know how to handle children and there were so many safety violationsOther Review5mo ago31 Reviews - Huron Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst school i have ever had my child at. My child is mixed and is the only mixed person in her class and she is in first grade and her teacher singles her out. Despite going to the principal about situations she’s is extremely dismissive!Parent Review6mo ago9 Reviews - Bruce Collins Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter teacher isn’t doing her job. I’m teaching her more at home than she’s learning her 8 hours in this school. They give them hand sheets all day then when the test come they expect them to know what’s 8-_+2= in the second grade! This is unacceptable! We need more dedicated teachers who are passionate about kids education!Parent Review1y ago15 Reviews - Wilde Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Wilde for 5 years and our experience was definitely a smooth ride. I do feel as though the teachers did a wonderful job trying to encourage and teach the children and I am so grateful for all their patients and efforts, as the teaching can be a difficult job at times. As far as emotional support, the experience we endured was not as I had hoped it would be. I contacted the social worker about some changes I noticed in my daughter's behavior and asked for her to have a personal conversation with my daughter to kind of get a clue as to what was going on and she failed to get back in touch with me, not a single word. That was the beginning of my daughters 5th grade year. That really upset me, thankfully I looked elsewhere for help. Safety will always be a concern for our children, I feel as if they really took that bull by the horns, it was very important to the school, and they took good precautions to ensure the children's safety. All schools put on that welcome face to ensure that the numbers are up, I do feel like they do push the inclusivity of parents being part of the children's learning, however I feel as if some homework should be given along with unfinished daily work. This school really pushes the reading deal, which is awesome, but as a parent I want to see that they have an understanding of what it is they are being taught. Overall, I am glad our experience was smooth.Parent Review8mo ago12 Reviews - Parkway Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI entered parkway a few years ago hoping that somehow this school would improve my faith and allow me to enhance my socialization skills with other students. The complete opposite happened. After the first year, (I’m being so for real) my mental health was under attack as teachers praised student’s perversion and immature behavior, having no discipline for bad behavior other than yelling at students. My writing skills absolutely suck now, as rowdy behavior during presentations and the bizarre assignments which are given. Not to mention your eyes get damaged from staring at an iPad for almost 6 hours a day. Parents… PLEASE! I’m begging you, if you love your children, do not send them to this school. The only students who have a good experience are the ones whose parents and family have been involved for decades, and are able to get away with unacceptable behavior backed by the Methodist church. Please, students who are reading this, do not attend this school if you care about your mental health. Even Chip is more acceptable than this “Christian” school.Other Review1y ago32 Reviews
