4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI did not want to like this school, it was certainly not our top choice. And I still don't like it, I LOVE it and so does my child. I had the choice to put my child back in the lottery for next year, but we are home at Harvard Kent. The principal is amazing. He's so clearly cares about the children and educators. He is engaging, transparent, responsive and only wants the very best for the school in general. Every teacher I meet is kind, caring and invested. I wish I went to a school like this when I was a child. I know Harvard Kent doesn't look that great on paper yet, but the reality of the school is beautiful.Just wait, they are going to be the number one school in Boston in no time.Parent Review1mo ago7 Reviews - Hugh Roe O'Donnell Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudent with autism having graduated in 2023. A-Team was kind of ridiculous - I was getting in trouble for things that would otherwise be normal sensory things, like playing with food. If you like a certain seat on the bus, if it is at the front, the teachers will just force a little kid next to you, prioritizing their own convenience over your personal space. Some of the teachers can overreact to things - I got in trouble for breaking an eraser that was literally hanging by a thread! I lived in Eastie which didn't help, as while waiting for my bus I'd get micromanaged by one of the staff! She'd accuse me of arguing with her on some occasions! Maybe I should've looked into a more local school...Other Review1mo ago21 Reviews
