Harvard Kent has always been an amazing community school that really embraces their student body and strives to give the kids a great education. There were some bumps in the road with principal changes over the last few years, but the current (and permanent) principal has proven to be a huge asset.

Posted by a parent on 4/30/2024This school is a hidden gem. The principal is awesome, the teachers are dedicated, and the atmosphere is joyful and welcoming. The school's test scores are on the rise and it is a school that embraces all students and families and takes pride in serving them well.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei was a student at this school last year (2021-2022) and most of the teachers weren't the problem it was the other staff. there were several times where i got harassed and assaulted and one time they didnt even tell me who did it so i could avoid them. after another incident happened they made ME wait in the office in the morning for weeks while the kids who harassed me were able to go outside. they also never payed good attention to me cause there were time where i would have scars on me and they didnt notice (care??) the counselors and math teachers were nice though and they were the main reason i kept going to that school. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReported stolen items from this school (from a school play.) They didn’t do anything. Also, this school is perfect for rich children of wealthy parents. But if you’re of low income, don’t even bother about putting your child in this school. They will feel/be excluded and shunned to the side because of their class meanwhile the rich students whose parents have connections will be pandered to. This school is atrocious.
