6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe only thing that I could say about the school, is the teachers try their heart is saying engage and help the students improve educational wise, but as far as the staff, they are horrible the principal is horrible. The staff will call you throughout the whole day about little things While you're working, and they lie about things a lot the principal take side with her staff and her teachers and is always against the parent I wouldn't give this higher rate if it wasn't for the teachers, but if I had to write the staff in the principal, it will be zero starsParent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Estelle Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers have been great. I have never had a problem getting in contact with a teacher. They have always been wonderful with my children. They are tough teachers, but fair. -- The principal on the other hand needs to learn how to talk to people especially students.Parent Review7y ago7 Reviews - Miller Wall Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is terrible! They do not care about the students or their academic needs. The staff are rude and unaccommodating to the needs of parents or students. The school also has a severe lice infestation.Parent Review7y ago3 Reviews - Woodmere Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSomething very upsetting was brung to my attention, The Young Audience Program has been canceled at wood mere.... Well Since my daughter truly benefited from this program, I will fight this foolishness till the end...... Guaranteed. I rate the new principle with the stars you see selected and 5 stars for the old principle who really cared about the kids, instead of themselves. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. It does not teach your kids only thing. Your child will learn from their school is how to fight pick up on bad habits, and the people in the office does not care neither the teacher they’re only there for a paycheck now I do have to say it may be a handful of Teachers that do care about their child safety in the school but the office I can see 100% do not care if I were you I would not send my child that’s why you cannot reply on the reviews on Google when u pull the school up because that’s how horrible the school is and I feel that it is wrong because if your child lives in the school district, they are forced to go to a school that is not suitable for them or teaching them anything your child is forced to go there and fail, and they look down on your kids in the school, just like you’re forced to put one star up here and you don’t wanna put none.Parent Review5mo ago9 Reviews - Visitation Of Our Lady School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey stopped teaching actual lessons about science and started only teaching religion (evolution is fake, you should only believe in one god) and they don't even TRY with the teachers. I am now no longer a part of ANY religion because of these teachings. 90% of the teachers I had when I went there were terrible and would SCREAM. There's black mold everywhere (which they might have fixed, but probably not) and the lights tend to flicker plus a lot of boards in the ceilings are missing. I had know over 80% of the curriculum before it was even taught simply because of YouTube and my PRESCHOOL. My religion teachers would discriminate against any kid who was not Catholic, even my Best Friend who was Lutheran. And I know that kids in Catholic schools are supposed to be nice and pure but the kids were absolute jerks, and they got little to no repercussions, and would speak about inappropriate topics in front of the teachers (certain adult websites, inappropriate votes, ect...) on the topic of family engagement or special ed, the only family actives they would have were rather poorly ran and very expensive (20+ dollars poor entry and 20+ for food and around 40+ for stuff for the child.) For special Ed the teachers would just send the students to a different room for an extra five minutes. And there were only kids with ADHD and autism in the school, and I had only met 2 autistic kids there and probably five children with ADHD. Either the school is denying applications for children with special needs or people are refusing to send their children with accomodations to the school. Sad to see from such a religion based school. The school is relatively safe when it comes to lock down and tornadoes, and the gates are always closed. Except church hours, which makes me concerned after recent events that I don't want to mention here. Also, kids with mental issues (gender dysphoria, depression, ECT...) were treated as outcasts and apparently the councilor didn't help much. But we loved her anyways. I hope she is still there because she was doing everything she could with her limited resources. In summary, the school is filthy, poorly ran, and not very attentive. I feel like the school could become something amazing if they stop letting the priests control everything (as they had lost over 80% of the teachers since I had gone there) and got a better principal. Someone who could make VOL a good school again. But judging by the management, it doesn't seem likely.Other Review8mo ago16 Reviews - Marrero Christian Academy & High School
