"I used to live in this neighborhood when l came to Chicago in 1970. I am glad the neighborhood has been maintained by people who care about where they live. I am pleased to know that people do care about their homes. I will be glad to come back to this neighborhood. My son and I need a decent place to live and now we have found it. My son is 44 years old and very mature He works out of our house now. My son went to Columbia College and studied Journalism. He is very intelligent and needs peace and quiet when he works. I need peace and quiet. I work for a child daycare. I love my work. I believe in keeping a clean home and a well kept lawn. I accept the community guide lines."

"Dogs are always supervised when outside of their yard and I’ve never had any issues with any! There’s a lot of barking but its not annoying. You eventually tune it out easily. Nice community for dogs. "

"A lot of people have dogs, but not everyone is dog friendly. Most people just have dogs, and do not walk them, which causes them to get lose every now and again, so you should carry a stick."

"I live in this neighborhood. I'm not a native of Chicago and carefully picked the area. This isn't a bad neighborhood in comparison. The people speak and the lawns are well manicured. There is block pride through the neighborhood. I'd like to see more Vivint so that we could all participate with the Streety app. "

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I am extremely disappointed with Hoyne Elementary School. My children has experienced bullying, and I do not feel the school handled the situation with the seriousness or urgency it deserved. When I reached out for help, the response felt slow and inconsistent, which is very concerning when it comes to a child’s safety and well-being. On top of that, I am also unhappy with the quality of education. It often feels unorganized, and I haven’t seen the level of academic support or structure that I expected. My child has struggled at times without receiving enough help, and communication about their progress has not always been clear. A school should provide both a safe environment and a strong education, and unfortunately, I don’t feel confident in either right now. There is potential for improvement, but the school needs to take bullying more seriously and focus more on supporting students academically. At this point, I would not recommend this school to other parents.Parent Review1mo ago7 Reviews - St Ailbe Catholic School
