"The people rarely speak, but I feel safe in the neighborhood. There are a couple of schools nearby, so there are kids. The kids usually play at or near the school. "

"Other dog owners sometimes do pick up for their dogs but then other times they don’t. I just think it’s pretty bad sometimes that someone’s yard ends up filled with dog poo."

"McKinley park has plenty of land to walk dogs of all sizes. Neighbors do not really complain about loud dogs. Most neighbors pick up after their pet and walk them on a leash. Cars do not drive through the streets in excess speed. "

"People tend not to pick up their poop and have a hard time keeping them off our lawn. But dogs are friendly of each other. Depending on the owner. Some are noisier than others and some neighbors are more fond of the dogs than others "

"I've lived all my life, 45 years and neighborhood has changed a lot. l do have to go out at night and i have never felt threatened. Hard working people, some section eight, Some blocks still have block parties. i still feel safe here,a lot of dogs and kids. But the city keeps cutting trees down, so not a lot of trees. Near Orange line and Archer Ave. which has great places to eat and, is the main artery to anywhere you need to go. Great location to live in."

"Parking will take a toll on you. Mornings are heavy in traffic specially during school drop-offs Always be at least 30 minutes early before you catch traffic. Its inevitable but it’s possible. "

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst school ever! Take your child out of here. Principal is quite irresponsible and teachers only protect him, people here show a face of being very kind staff, but in reality they cover their faults each other, without caring if it affects the student. Don't be fooled by their fake friendliness and be careful.Parent Review5y ago10 Reviews - Calmeca Academy Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIts a really good school, my 2 boys has been there since Preeschool and has been an amazing experience as a parent and for them to. Also there is the option of half or full day for the preschoolers. The staff is friendly and teachers are caring, respectfull and the kids learn based in catholic faith.Parent Review6y ago5 Reviews - Columbia Explorers Elementary Academy
