This school is worse than you imagine. For heaven sake, don't send your kids to this school.
Posted by a parent on 2/3/2025Calmeca is such a great school. I love how the principal does a lot for the students and staff. There are so many activities and exploratory classes for the students. Calmeca always have so many after-school activities to get the family and community involved. Calmeca has zero tolerance for Bullying

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school from pre-K until the beginning of 8th grade. During those years I unfortunately suffered bullying. I myself had brought this up to my teachers and nothing was done. I brought it up to the vice principal and nothing was done. I was hoping for some sort of help that not even the principal provided when I brought it to her attention. For many years it went unnoticed regardless of how many times I had reported it. It was only when I had an emergency evaluation by a licensed therapist during the school day that I finally received the help I so desperately needed. From then on, they began to truly care about bullying and its victims as soon as it had reached extreme of needing an intervention from a therapist. This school truly does nothing for its students and if I could leave a lower review, I would.Other Review10mo ago
