Some of the teachers are great and others not so much. It looks like they are trying really hard this year to get organized and include more parents in their events.
Posted by a parent on 5/6/2014In response to post from March 21, 2014, McCormick's scores are not dropping every year! In fact it some of the highest scores in the network! All due to the great hardworking teachers and new principal!

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been in this school for 7 yrs. This is a really nice school. I love the after-school programs and the teaching. The only thing I dislike is the food. My child has told me that he has gotten rotten apple and expired milk! One time the chicken was even raw! 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school from pre-K until the beginning of 8th grade. During those years I unfortunately suffered bullying. I myself had brought this up to my teachers and nothing was done. I brought it up to the vice principal and nothing was done. I was hoping for some sort of help that not even the principal provided when I brought it to her attention. For many years it went unnoticed regardless of how many times I had reported it. It was only when I had an emergency evaluation by a licensed therapist during the school day that I finally received the help I so desperately needed. From then on, they began to truly care about bullying and its victims as soon as it had reached extreme of needing an intervention from a therapist. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy children would come home almost every week with unexplained injuries or missing items such as clothes, school supplies and more. There does not seem to be a consistent curriculum in place. The administrative staff is cold and unapproachable. I tried checking reviews on Google, but it looks like they have been removed.
