5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is pretty great! First time mom here so I didn't really know what to expect plus I didn't go to school in GA so I had one idea how anything goes with this. I read some reviews of this school before sending my kid here and thought this would be a good choice... well I must say my expectations were decently exceed! The staff is super great! Friendly, welcoming and more will to answer all of my questions lol. I love my kids teacher so much and I know he are teaching, challenging, being kind and actually help him. Staff members that I don't even know by name know my kid by name and reminder what class he is in. I love all the actives and things they host at the school. I actually gave the school a call today to ask a few questions about the next school year, I was talking with the Assistant Principle, gave her my child's name and she was like 'oh [Kids name] in Mrs. [ so and so's] class. I was very impressed she know my kid, it's not like he gets in trouble and has to go to the office. I have been trying to get my son in a charter school but I am definitely keeping him here until middle school! I can not say enough good things about this school, every staff member here and I am looking forward to my son continuing his education here.Parent Review2mo ago8 Reviews - Powers Ferry Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI never write reviews but I felt this was necessary. I dont think I can say specific teacher's name's here, but if your child is in special education (in a 3-5 intergrated classroom), please consider private school or other placement. My child's experience here was heartbreaking. Dont be mislead by the perceived status of the school. If you want a safe, caring educator for your child, look elsewhere.Parent Review4mo ago26 Reviews - Sedalia Park Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis has got to be the worst school my son has ever went to. He went from great grades to failing. His first day the LUNCH LADY told him to shut up in lunch. His teacher only calls to complain but when he ask questions she won’t repeat herself. She marks certain stuff wrong on purpose. Grades only what she wants to grade. It’s just all a mess. The fact that we are moving to switch him back to Lockheed elementary says alot. Parents warned me but we are new to GA and believe me when I say he won’t be stepping foot back into this school after only being there 3 months.Parent Review3mo ago24 Reviews - Brumby Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family has had a wonderful experience at Brumby Elementary School. Both of our children, our son and daughter, attended Brumby, and it has truly been a special place for our family. The principal is outstanding, and the teachers genuinely care about the kids and their growth, both academically and personally. Our son has since graduated and moved on to the neighboring middle school, but Brumby played a huge role in shaping his confidence and interests. Our daughter is still there and is absolutely blossoming. She’s found a quirky, diverse group of friends where she feels accepted and supported, which means everything to us as parents.I also want to give special recognition to Mr. Branch, who manages so many programs at the school. His dedication helped our son discover a hidden talent for piano, something we may have never known otherwise. That kind of impact lasts a lifetime. If I had one concern, it’s not with the school itself but with a broader issue seen across many schools today: uninvolved parents. Schools like Brumby do incredible work, but they thrive best when families are equally engaged. Overall, we’re incredibly grateful for the community, leadership, and care Brumby Elementary provides.Parent Review6mo ago27 Reviews - Faith Lutheran School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFaith Lutheran School feels like home! All the teachers and staff know my kids and greet me by name when I walk in the door. The class sizes are small so we get lots of individualized attention. Academically, my children are learning the same plus more as friends in public school. They know Jesus but the religious aspect is not "overbearing". My kids were well prepared for high school and beyond after Faith Lutheran - I would highly recommend it!Parent Review9mo ago21 Reviews - Shreiner Academy
