"My grandmother has owned 2 homes in this area and left one to my mom. I lived with my mom and the house was than left to me, so my family has over 50+ years in this area. It truly is like an old time neighborhood where we look out for each other, know everyone who has kids, dogs, etc. During the last hurricane one side of the street lost power, the other did not. The side with the power opened their homes to those of us with no power for the entire 5 days. They gave out spare keys, cooked, allowed us to shower, do laundry and even sleep over if needed! Amazing place to live!"

"living on the water that leads out to the Riviera Bay Bayou, Weedon Island and Tampa Bay is the best. If you love the outdoors, great neighbors, kayaking, paddling boarding, biking and a great view of the water with manatees, dolphin, snook, jack and many other fish and beautiful wildlife all around..........Riviera Bay is for you!"

"We love this area. The neighborhood is filled with families and retirees and everyone is friendly. The canal system makes it easy to get out to the Tampa bay and enjoy fishing or boating. The community has frequent get togethers for holidays. "

"The neighborhood is located only 15 minutes from two major airports. Walking distance to a new, extensive park and only 2 miles from Weedon Island preserve. Friendly neighbors and easy canal access. Riviera Bay is a quiet community and is a great place to raise children. A 5 minute drive to I-275 and Gandy Blvd provides for easy access to downtown Tampa and St Petersburg. Grocery stores are within walking distance. A place where neighbors look out for one another. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI honestly had mixed feelings about my children's time at LCS. Pros-smaller classes, Christian education.Cons- Issues with other students may not be addressed properly, communication is not always timely. My kids were newer to the school and at times it felt cliquish-especially at events outside the normal class hours. It was a struggle socially, but with teacher support one child had some improvement with developing relationships. The academics were solid, however for the lower grades I was hoping my child would have more of an excitement for learning. Overall, I feel like something was missing there. It just felt sterile and I hoped for better connections for a small school.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Holy Family Catholic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school, the teachers and staff care about each student and their success. Along with an excellent education- each student learns Catholic values and any bullying or acting out is not tolerated. The Principal and Vice Principal take care of any issues that come up immediately and genuinely care about the kids and their success. Each teacher my kids have had has been engaged, caring and devoted to learning.Parent Review4y ago63 Reviews - The Canterbury School of Florida
