What Locals Say about Indian Shores

  • Kim
"Not enough green space with all the condos. No dogs allowed on the beach. Fair number of restaurants are dog friendly. "
  • Denise Hemke
"Indian Shores is a lot of condo rentals and some residential. The beach is beautiful, but a commute to Tampa is 30-45 mins. "
  • Matt M.
"Beaches all up and down the coast. Even though you don’t know your neighbors we are all still out on the beach enjoying the sunshine. Gulf boulevard is a very busy street and it’s not recommended to walk, bike or jog down the street. Better to stay on the beach and away from the crazy traffic. Winter time brings the snowbirds and it gets busier. Summer time is slightly less but also is very very hot. "
  • Jerry_alexander
"Beach is nice area is safe , great place to vacation - Family oriented - allot of good restaurant choices "
  • Lars F.
"This is one of the best places on Gulf Blvd, large beach which feels like private, not crowded, fell safe hear"
  • Juliecopeland
"I’m visiting but it’s very nice. Low key and quiet. Lots of good food and beautiful Florida nature to enjoy. "
  • Jrenner1013
"I lived in Indian Shores for several years, but had to move once our family outgrew the 2 bd condo. Private, white sandy beaches are steps across the street and the intracoastal is perfect for kayaking and boating. There are many great restaurants (especially Salt Rock Grill) and shops, too. If you love beach towns, this is the place to go. "
  • Kary A.
"The beaches along this stretch of the Gulf Coast are spectacular; white sands, aqua water, comfortable water temperatures for swimming. The sunsets are worth planning your evenings around just gorgeous! It is a lovely community with local shops and restaurants."
