4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe front office staff is welcoming and my daughter feels comfortable at Wright. Her teachers are caring and provide me with materials to work with her at home. Communication is fluid. Ms. Boyd makes time to address my concerns and supports as a parent. I appreciate all the family nights and after school events. The media center at Wright is filled with books that my child enjoys checking out and reading at home.Parent Review1y ago12 Reviews - Shalimar Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe were highly disappointed with this school. To start, this school has no PTO and no parent-teacher conferences!! What kind of school has no way for parental involvement built into it?! My son was high performing and instead of building in ways for him to keep being challenged the only solution was to stick him in front of the iPad half the day. We need to do better than this. Scaffold education and provide higher performing students with activities OFF of the ipads. Other countless complaints were television during lunchtime, candy being given out almost every day, an extensive reward/discipline system that makes the children completely desire extrinsic motivators, crossing guards looking at their phones during dismissal, I could go on. Of course, there are really caring adults and educators in the school, but something is just not right and not working.Parent Review3y ago5 Reviews - Kenwood Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMilitary family. My daughter attended K-2 here and has missed it dearly since we moved. She still talks about the friendships she had, the teachers she loved and the education. She was noticeably ahead of the students in her new school who also came from different parts of the US. My wife and I had the choice of sending our daughter to a private school while in FL and have zero regrets from choosing Kenwood elementary instead. From our experience, the teachers obviously cared and still stay in touch through social media to check on our daughter. The community around Kenwood is also top notch and we always felt safe there. We plan on returning once out of the military.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Longwood Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child loves it here and I do too! Everyone at this school is so warm and friendly! I feel like they treat every child special, just melts my heart.A quick story...one day I dropped my son off and it was not the best morning (wasn’t listening and had a bad attitude) and the Resource Officer has seen my child always in the morning smiling and so she got down and just chatted and hugged my son. I was driving away smiling! What an awesome thing to notice he was having a bad day and helped him get out of his funk. It made me want to cry because it was such a small thing but made such a huge impact!Parent Review7y ago7 Reviews - Cinco Baptist School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have been attending CCA for a couple of years now and the teachers have been nothing short of amazing. The entire staff has been caring compassionate and welcoming. I do wish the class sizes were smaller. However, I do understand the demand with everyone pulling kids out of public schools.Parent Review4mo ago8 Reviews
