Read what parents are saying about Wright Elementary SchoolMy son has attended for two years now, and he really seems to enjoy it. I won't say it's perfect, but it's a by-the-numbers, perfectly acceptable public elementary school.

Posted by a community member on 1/28/2017My daughter has been attending Wright Elementary since kindergarten and she is now in fourth grade. I LOVE this school. I have always had great communication with the teachers and staff. I am always greeted with a smile when I walk onto campus. This year they have implemented the Leader In Me program. They are focusing on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. I hear my daughter using words like "Be Proactive" and "Put First Things First". I would recommend this school to anyone in this area!
Posted by a parent on 1/23/2017There are many teachers at Wright that are amazing with the exception of very few. However, the office staff members always seem a bit frustrated every time I go in to ask a question. I try to avoid the front office if I can.
Posted by a parent on 9/29/2014This is by far the worst school ive ever delt with ! Lice year round rude teachers and staff . Teachers are temps or fill ins . Last year my daughter never had a real teacher . She has also contracted lice 6 times in 6 months . They cover this up and dont report them . She is being pulled out as of now ! If you value your childs education don't put them here !

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers do not communicate with the parents. My child has been going here since kindergarten and the communication has gotten progressively worse with each teacher. Now that my child is in 3rd grade and about to take the FSA, we have been having problems with test anxiety and continued lack of communication. I have told the teachers, principal, assistant principal and guidance counselor that they need to communicate with me to alleviate the anxiety my child is having and they refuse to work with me. I am willing to help and deal with my child and they have not complied with my requests. They are even making it difficult to get an IEP - it seems no one knows the steps to take to even start the process. Luckily, my child has been accepted into a different school next year, so hopefully this issue will be solved. I would not recommend this school if your child has anxiety or if you would like the teachers to communicate with you.Other Review3y ago - Choice High School And Technical Center
