"I don’t have a commute at the moment. We are minutes from the red line at union station, there is a street car on H St, if you’re more South, the eastern market stop is nearby, and there are buses to pretty much anywhere in the city."

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son has attended for K and 1st. We've been very happy with the teachers and the community (PTO).Main complaints are: 1) IEP services -- the instructors who provide the services are great. However, each year I've had to flight for 6 weeks to get the services started. The VP, who is over the coordination of the services, is no help. Parents have complained each year about this same issue and no improvements are ever implemented.2) administration -- communication is very lacking. They also seem out of touch. Before we started K another parent did "warn" me about the administration.Parent Review1y ago22 Reviews - Two Rivers PCS

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm currently in my last year of TwoRivers middle school, and my experience with the elementary was phenomenal. They were so helpful, understanding, and caring. Please don't listen to any of these other parents they don't know what they're talking about. This school is also one of the only school in D.C. who's middle school actually helps with high school applications.Student Review5mo ago7 Reviews - Kendall Demonstration Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWith a child in Pre-K and 5th grade, my kids have both had amazing experiences. Teachers are passionate about the Reggio Emelia approach and are serious about applying it, especially in the younger classes before DC standards and testing come into it. In 4th grade my son said his teacher made him love math. My Pre-k daughter is learning so much in what is clearly a creative and self-led manner.Parent Review3y ago3 Reviews
