"It’s quiet and most people are friendly. Pet friendly and near nice dog parks, parks, and schools. You are near stadium armory, Eastern Market, and the Capitol. "

"Everyone is very friendly. I always feel at home and welcomed. People watch out for each other and we know each other by name (or our dog’s name!)"

"I grew up near this area and came back a few years ago. The development and diversity have improved a great deal and great things are coming. There is still some work that needs to be done to minimize the loitering and such but when you grow up in DC it’s less of an issue."

"I’ve observed that there’s a lot of Cars that speed in the alleyways in this neighborhood. It could use more speed bumps to improve pedestrians safety "

"It’s different ethnicities and there’s good places to visit in dc if you’re just visiting. Great things as far as museums, sight-seeing, & shopping. Not too far from Union Station where you can commute to other areas using the yellow and green lines. Also use the trolley which is free fare. So you can explore the restaurants on H Street and the Pubs."

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe strong community at Miner is exactly what we are looking for in a neighborhood school, and I am thrilled that my daughter will be going there for the next 7 years - from Pre-K and up. Boiling down a schools' performance to standardized test metrics does not in any way reflect the learning, the support and the experience-based learning going on at this school. If you pass on this school experience because of what some website says about test numbers, you will really be missing out.Parent Review6y ago9 Reviews - Center City PCS - Capitol Hill
