"Adams Morgan should be a separate Republic. Independent, close to downtown and the White House, restaurants, makes it one of the best understated locations in the city"

"Adams Morgan/Kalorama has plenty of grassy areas and also a dog park. It’s very dog friendly. There are a lot of dogs in the area so if your pet isn’t very friendly with other dogs, walks will be a little difficult. "

"There is a great dog park in the neighborhood and also several grassy areas. People will let their dog off leash in just the grassy areas which isn’t always great but overall everyone picks up after there pets and it’s a good neighborhood if you have dogs. "

"Lots of buses available but some come much more frequently than others. I take 90/96 to U Street metro then take green line to Navy Yard, which ends up being 40 to 45 minutes. The drive can be anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on traffic."

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved from Thailand, and my son had a hard time adjusting to the new environment, new friends, and a new school. But the teachers here have been so kind and supportive. They constantly help him and always keep me updated on his progress. Even when he was sick, they reached out right away.I love joining field trips and participating in school activities with him. There’s nothing more important than knowing our elementary kids are in good hands - and here, I truly feel that they are.Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - H.D. Cooke Elementary School
