Oak Haven Estates

Multiple of my children have and are attending Pauba Valley. When we first moved here it seemed like a good school. But now, we have realized how many teachers are burnt out at this school and shouldn’t be teaching anymore. Our kids tell us everything and some of the behavior of these teachers and their attitude is not what I feel comfortable having my kids around 6 hours a day. Homeschool is the next step for us.

Not good. We are starting a new school this year. There was no excitement or morale. Felt like the teachers weren’t being supported. Best of luck ! Lots of changes happening there this year and hope it’s for the better

Red Hawk is a top tier school in this district. The teachers are phenomenal, always looking out for their students but pushing them further. My daughter's TK teacher goes above and beyond the level of care and compassion you could ask for in a teacher. My son has attended here since 1st grade and we have been nothing but impressed with the teachers. The Principal is very present and I often see her outside greeting students by name (no idea how she knows so many student names) and has always been pleasant in my interactions with her. It seems as if other reviewers don't have a concept of safety. We truly love the Red Hawk school community and would recommend to anyone who is considering public vs. private school

In my experience TT is a mediocre elementary. They have had 3 different principles in the last 3 years. The PTA brings in a lot of funds but the school has hardly any extra curricular activities. They don’t offer any foreign language. It’s a basic elementary that doesn’t offer anything special.

My kids who once loved this school now hate it. They feel like no matter what they do it will be corrected even when right to make them feel wrong. The school has changed so much under the new administration. The students are given very harsh punishments. The fun and joy is gone. Trying to get the SEL support that our school was known for in this district has become near impossible. You can see in the staff throughout the school that they are beaten down. The school went from being about our children and them as a whole to being about numbers and scores and not the kids. I am so sad and disappointed that our amazing school has become what it is now under the new principal. I hope the district listens to the parents complaints and see what their choice did.
