My son had an amazing experience at JES! He came from another TVUSD where he struggled with reading and writing. When he came, his teacher was amazing and worked with him to help bridge the gap he had. She built up his self esteem and helped him to gain the confidence he needed.

Unprofessional / Unethical: Teachers can threaten students without recourse even if a student did nothing. The principal disregards concerns from parents and only acts if you elevate issues to the district or look into legal actions. Unsafe: Safety concerns that are brought to the school’s attention

Not good. We are starting a new school this year. There was no excitement or morale. Felt like the teachers weren’t being supported. Best of luck ! Lots of changes happening there this year and hope it’s for the better

For the most part the teaching staff is excellent. Like anywhere, there are a few exceptions. The school has a bullying policy but it is not enforced. The Principles approach to dealing with bullying is to ignore it or make excuses.
