9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDisabled kids are allowed to beat on fellow gen ed classmates and the principal won't do anything about it. The teachers literally can't do anything due to "steps in the process" my young child was scared to go to school because the mean girl hits him every day. I hate hearing,"why does she hit me? Why is it ok for her to hit? Girls will make horrible false accusations towards other students and not get reprimanded. Students self harm and when the school is informed with information the principles response is simply,"oh here we go, we dont need that. But that's something the vice principal handles." Bullying is the norm. I grew up here, went to this school and I am embarrassed to have my children go here. My kids mental health has declined since starting Carlton Hills. If you care about your kids mental health don't bring them here, but if all you care about are grades, the go ahead. There are a few star teachers that give this jail some light.Parent Review2mo ago14 Reviews - Carlton Oaks Elementary School

My son went to kindergarten here and will be in first grade I love that all the neighbors all attend the same school and I also taught art and loved being apart of the school, great PTA and a wonderful community!Parent Review10mo ago19 Reviews - Chet F. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has a terrible process for applicants. They don’t answer phone and have a call back service. I haven’t been able to get ahold of a human. I either get transferred multiple times to a callback service.Parent Review2y ago17 Reviews - Pride Academy At Prospect Avenue

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school principal oversees the students getting on the bus. My daughter was let to go home with the principals kids friends dad. Peter. The mom called me and let me know. I got there and the dad was in the Jacuzzi between the two five year old girls. Before dinner, I noticed a goose egg bump on her forehead. She said she fell on the stairs at their house. When I brought this to the attention of the school principal I learned this was her child's friends parents and she refused to "mandate" report herself or the family. I talked to the school nurse and she said she would arrange it with the teacher to make sure if there were any additional concussive symptoms, my kid would be sent to the nurse and I would get a phone call. Worried all day, no phone call. I found out there were additional concussive symptoms but the teacher was busy with a science production video in their classroom. There's proof of the goose egg on camera for the district science video. The teacher admitted she was overwhelmed and didn't pay attention to my child's symptoms. I didn't ask her to. I asked her to send her to the nurse and have me get her to take her to the doctor. My child was kidnapped under the principal's direct supervision & neglected under her teachers direct supervision with awareness of medical emergency. I was neglected as a parent and treated like they couldn't bother to do basic tasks for me. The teacher prior to this was exceptional with interesting interactive play. After this happened I was treated like I was in their way.Parent Review1y ago9 Reviews - Rio Seco Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn the past seven academic years the school has had a consistent problem with not knowing when a sixth grader has left the campus and not been signed out. The school also has a problem in the office with paying attention to details to the point where it's concerning especially when your child can just leave campus and go somewhere else and be seen and the school had no idea that she was gone. It's also really appalling the level of excuses the principal Stephanie southcott comes up with when your child is screaming for help emotionally. She blames autism as a excuse when the autism has nothing to do with it and she has a copy of the IEP from a different County as well as a 504 plan. It takes numerous calls to correct anything with this office and numerous attempts to just get a copy of your child's file In the meantime children there are only allowed to perform academically to a very low bar and when your child constantly test higher than that in the state testing they still only keep your child at the low bar and not a combination classroom. The middle school is a joke You only have three teachers and 6 weeks after they start 6th grade they may get a locker for PE it's not high school preparatory at all It doesn't prepare for them for the real world on any level and unfortunately my child only had three good teachers the first three years she was there The rest have all been very challenging and difficult unfortunately my daughter has not been taken care of or given the respect that she needed while attending there This will be her last year.Parent Review9mo ago7 Reviews - Sycamore Canyon Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers here were really nice besides one of them. The students were okay, some of them bullied me, but that only lasted about a week and a half. The teachers were good at teaching, school was really easy at the time. I had a nice time here, wish I could've stayed.Other Review5y ago5 Reviews
