During the pandemic, the local neighborhood put on a 'bear hunt,' where you put a teddy bear in your window so families with children could take walks in the neighborhood and spot them. "

    "North Oak Park is experiencing noticeable revitalization as young 20 something singles and young couples move into rental property and also purchase single family homes in the North Oak Park neighborhood. There are numerous homes and apartment buildings in North Oak Park that have been completely renovated in the past three years. New grocery stores (Fresh N Easy) are being built in North Oak Park. New residential townhouse developments are scheduled for completion in late 2012 in North Oak Park."
