2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son had hands put on him by a teacher and nothing was done about it. Tried to call office to speak about it and get hung up on. Extremely unprofessional and a waste of funding from the state of California.Parent Review3mo ago2 Reviews - Mission Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son comes home and cries while doing homework. He's changed dramatically since starting school here. Hes not the happy, curious, and attentive little boy I raised anymore. He gets picked on for being a minority. He told me he wants to dye his hair black because he thinks his looks like a baby's hair. I found out the other students exclude him for being different and dont play with him. He told me some kids stopped talking his language when he tried to join them at tetherball.Parents aren't allowed on school property or allowed to check on how the school operates during school hours. Which is appalling.I put a audio recorder in my sons school bag.Adults at constantly yelling at students and imposing mass punishments on all students for the actions of some. Some students were not listening or following orders to stop screaming and yelling during lunch time while eating. The adults only response was.to yell louder and eventually punish the whole grade by taking away their recess. For the students who were not misbehaving, they recieved the same punishment.Parent Review3y ago9 Reviews - Turner Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy son went here for a year due to being over drafted. he was lucky then because the school he has to go to now with in our residential area is by far the worst. foothill has teacher or at least 1 that really care and a motivated teachers that motivates the parents and the student is no longer a thing. i believe the genuine care of students and involving the parents and not trying to just make them look bad do not exists. this school was so nice and welcoming when my son was there. both my boys beg me to send them there but i can't. I'm not sure how this school operates this school year 2025-2026 since Mrs. Jennifer cooper is no longer there but if your child gets Mr. Brown you can assure your child is going to learn and he did the intervention class they offer for an hour after school and math intervention that are really helpful. i don't have anything bad to say about the people that work here. i will say though if there is wrongdoing at any of the district schools it's because the superintendent. if wrongdoing to kids or parents is taking place you can expect that its aloud because it is not just that districts 1 school but it's the district. the policies they talk about such as equal access is not real and your child could get the help from staff or for the struggling area BUT, they are selective on type of person and what kind of person the help goes to. in my real and personal experience. not at foothill but its most likely because my son that when here did not have an IEP and the math intervention teacher and Mr. brown last year were very supportive and Mrs. cooper was amazing. the school has a good energy as well. i fully recommend this school if you're in the district. otherwise, i recommend leaving California.fyi any complaint you file request an outside investigator and also the outside investigator is a conflict of interest. go to the state. write everyone that you can because these guys have endless amounts of taxpayers money to pay for their lawyersParent Review5mo ago5 Reviews - Highlands Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWith the exception of Miss Nikki and Miss Sowels, most of the staff seems incompetent, and have no empathy for their students. Safety is not a high priority, and bullying is acceptable. IEP’s are not followed and are often in violation. I’m working on getting my children out of there.Parent Review2y ago1 Reviews - Stoneman Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen looking for a good school or before your kids start at any school, look at the office and the office staff. is it clean, well organized, do they communicate with one another, are they hard at work when you walk in, do they greet you right away? most importantly is the principal available?if you dont see any of these then you will know how the principal will be. not very good. if the principal is in a meeting that obviously means they are possibly doing their job, at least we hope. alot of kids in the office crying or in line to see a nurse, sent to the office by teachers. gossiping staff. rudley speaking in another language to one another when not helping a spanish speaking person not cool. anyways you shoulf for sure not go to this school. personal experience worst school in pittsburg due to it "leader"Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews
