The school has it's pros and cons. The teachers are supportive so far. There are a lot of grants that have been provided to the school. Therefore, many family engagement opportunities are offered.Due to the demographics of rhe school, there are many involved parents and it can feel like a small community of support. Make it your own and gain a good experience.However, the cons are that there is not enough emotional support and possibly even some safety concerns that could raise an eyebrow. Wen there are issues at school minor or much bigger with bullying the vice principal or principal fall off the grid in my personal experience. The follow ups or return calls oe non-existent. The overal idea of feeling emotionally and physically safe is entrusting your professionals with your children. Not everyone has the same ethics and you have to advocate for yourswlf and your children, or take it to a higher administrative levwlif there is ever a bullying situation.
