"This is not a neighborhood for children. There’s a lot of sirens going at all hours of the night. Extremely noisy. Westwood village used to be really nice. Not anymore."

"Very safe, can walk to theatre, restaurants, grocery, medical doctor, best hospital 5 blocks. From this location it is easy to go any direction without traffic by taking the back roads. We moved here 10 years ago from Beverly Hills because we wanted to be close to UCLA Hospital— it is the best hospital in LA and My wife and I are in our 70’s. And if any emergency happens we will be more likely to survive. We walk to dinner most nights because there is a very good selection of great restaurants."

"I’ve lived here for 13 years. Simply love it and feel safe. Almost everywhere in LA is about a 20 min drive. Amazing mall and shops nearby. Just a 10-15 min from the beach and the same to take on a hike in the mountains. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve been at this school for 10 years now. My third daughter just entered the preschool so I’ll be here for a while longer. It’s been nothing but great during my time here. The teachers are amazing and supportive. The admin is very involved and attentive to what us parents want and need. The community is stellar. Nothing is better than this community and to be a part of something bigger than you. In a time of need they all stepped up and helped out when we needed it most, without even asking. The friends my kids have made are lifelong friends and I couldn’t have asked for a better situation. Plus the education is great and is constantly challenging, which is something that’s important to me.Parent Review7y ago14 Reviews - St Paul the Apostle

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would think long and hard before sending your child to this school. It lacks in academics as compared to other Catholic schools in Los Angeles. Also, you don't get the sense of family community that you get in a smaller school. St Paul is basically a Westside Private School that is focused on their festival donations. They are inconsistent and will often favor certain kids depending on who their family is. It doesn't feel very Catholic and most of the families that I met were not Catholic. Unfortunately, there is a lot of "rowdy" behavior. And in our situation some of the targeting, alienation, came from the school faculty.Parent Review1y ago1 Reviews
