3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter was emotionally abused by one of the first grade teachers at this school. Instead of addressing the problem the principal has chosen to ignore it and me. Ive been told by other students that this teacher is known for being very mean. It's unfortunate that the students such as my child have to endure such treatment.Parent Review4y ago9 Reviews - Forest Charter

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are so grateful to have found Forest Charter, it is truly what education should feel like for both students and parents! No matter what our needs are, the school meets our children where they are rather than forcing them to change to meet the school where it is. Whether it has been learning differences that presented difficulties or excelling in certain areas and needing more challenging material, Forest Charter always had the heartbeat of what our two students needed. It is never a perfunctory conversation that is rushed at an Open House, but teachers and administrators are consistently initiating and receptive to dialogue about what students need. This is not done on an annual basis, but on a regular basis and based on what they are observing or what I as a parent broach for discussion. We make a plan together and then as students, they have buy in. Being part of the team, instead of being talked down to, really gives them an investment in their learning that has resulted in results that we never thought possible. Thank you, Forest Charter, for restoring the love of learning! Both our boys thank us regularly for finding them such an amazing school!Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Twin Ridges Home Study Charter

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've been with this school for almost 4 years now. It feels like home away from home. The community in this school is amazing. I can teach my boys the way they need to be taught and the teachers are always willing to help with ideas when needed.Parent Review8y ago2 Reviews - Deer Creek Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family has loved this sweet school! I have had three kids go here and all the teachers are great! They have a carnival night around Halloween, a fantastic mini marathon and end of year parties where the kids go to the pool.Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Seven Hills Intermediate School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children love attending 7 Hills. We find the staff to be friendly, supportive and focused on helping students achieve and do their best. I personally love the extracurricular programs: bike shop, band, wood shop, STEM, creative writing etc. . The opportunities available in this small town are amazing.Parent Review2y ago7 Reviews - Grass Valley Charter School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are very happy with our experience at Grass Valley Charter. The community is wonderful and we love the staff and families here. I'm a big fan of the expeditionary learning model that gets them out of the classroom doing some really amazing things. Our kids are thriving and we highly recommend it.Parent Review4mo ago7 Reviews - Echo Ridge Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLet me spill the tea about Mt. St. Mary School because, honestly, this place has been nothing short of a drama show. If you’re a working parent, prepare to ditch your career because you’ll be doing the pickup shuffle for the most ridiculous reasons. I mean, seriously? My kid got sent home for what felt like the most petty stuff! It’s like they think we have nothing better to do than run back and forth to the school. And speaking of back and forth, let’s talk about communication. Good luck getting any real support; it’s more like a judging contest every time you walk through the door. Instead of finding allies in the teachers, I often felt like I was stepping into a reality show where everyone else was the judge and jury. A little warmth wouldn’t hurt, ladies! Now, on to the building itself. It’s a serious fixer-upper! The air conditioning? Barely a whisper of cool air when summer hits, and I swear parts of the structure look like they could use some serious TLC. I’m half-expecting a safety inspector to show up any day now and declare “condemned!”All in all, if you're looking for a nurturing environment for your child, you might want to keep scrolling. This place has potential but desperately needs a makeover in both the administration’s approach and the physical facilities. I wish I didn’t have to say all this; I really wanted to love this school!Parent Review3mo ago13 Reviews
