"the city sends out monthly magazines for what activities are available for the month!! it's a really cool way to keep the community feel."
  • Andrea
"There is a public transportation line within 10 minute drive or a 20 min walk for commute access to downtown. I drive to the Ranch Area which takes 20 minutes in the morning. "
  • Cultjam
"In Cobble Ridge, while walking my dog on her leash, I’ve had other dogs run up on us at least 10 times in the last 6 months. Kind of annoying that neighbors just let them run free. "
  • Sam
"Very conservative town. Otherwise a beautiful place to live. Enjoy the river and lakes. And the trails, they’re stunning. "
  • Danicadarlingg
"Farmers markets, Folsom Live, Christmas Tree Lighting, Cattle Drive. Bike trails. Easy and quick access to river and lake. "

"We have a little park, and there are neighborhood events. The American River Parkway, restaurants, weekly farmer's market, light rail, and shopping are only a five-minute walk away. "
  • Andrea
"There are wonderful parks and a great trail system for cycling, running etc. Old Folsom is lively with restaurants, shops, music venues , breweries, tap houses, wine bars and a few cool things to do. "
  • Jarheadsm47
"There are only twelve homes arranged in a circle. It's gated, hundred yards from the rodeo grounds, the river, and bike trail. Old Folsom is a short walk and Light rail is a mile away. Association fees are $100 a month. "

"Lived here since 1972 A quaint, clean, safe, historic neighborhood with well defined landscape, friendly neighbors, properties that are well maintained by the owners, pride and involvement in the community. We have a majority of all conveniences and offerings: The Metro, New Library facilities blocks away, historic Sutter Street at the end of the hill, restaurants galore, pubs, live theatre, and movie theatres, retail and antique stores, 5 major grocery stores, major box store less than a mile away, churches, hospitals, doctors, dentists, specialists, outlet stores, major and small strip malls, senior center, acquatic park and sports fields, banks and services of every size and description. We have a caring and active city council that has its eyes on the future and the now of our growth and development. Real Estate is not on the market for very long, if you can find any at all in the historic neighborhoods they are particularly difficult to find for sale and go fast and people stay and put down roots. It is the best and most coveted designation for all financial stratas to find a home. Folsom is family, Folsom is friendly, Folsom is home! "
