I am a newcomer to Arizona, but this school has really helped my family build roots here. Teachers line the halls and welcome students each and every day. The teachers are passionate about teaching and my daughter’s kindergarten teacher from three years ago still attends birthday parties and celebrations. We feel very lucky to have such a supportive and inclusive school in our community. I strongly urge other parents to think about Harris Elementary as an option for their children. At this school your child has the potential to learn and grow and families have the luxury to be part of a loving community.

I withdrew my child from this school because of ongoing bullying by students and the staff's failure to intervene. I tried discussing my concerns face-to-face, but my child continued to come home upset and reluctant to attend. I do not recommend this school; consider exploring charter or online schools instead.

All three of my kids have attended/still attending Franklin Accelerated Academy East and this school has always exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful how quickly our kids learned to read, and are excelling in almost all subjects. The teachers are mostly all amazing and care for the students.

This school ruined me the teachers were okay but the students were the problem. and the staff did NOTHING about it one kid pretended to be hitler and drew a mustache on himself and did the NAZI salute. teacher didn't even notice?? and when I reported it the counselor gave him a "talk". when the student came back he laughed it off and did it AGAIN little to ZERO consequences for literally impersonating hitler. A student i know was bullied by their peers for being transgender kids would ask them "do you need to wear a pad???" loud and rudely to them and laughed it off NO consequences!! the only good thing about this school is that the counselor's kind of make you feel better. this school made depression easy to develop and has destroyed many kids mental health. if tou're kid has behavioral issues dont send them too easy to get away with literal nazi,racism and transphobia in this school.

Absolutely horrible, if you want your child to fall behind in learning and deal with petty teachers and principal enroll them here. Also, if you have any sort of custody issues and they don’t get what they want from you, they will underhandedly go behind your back to get what they want from the other parent so if you and the other parent do not work together and cannot be aware of what they do. They also team up and gather like hens if you make one of them upset. The education Mesa public schools offer is horrible. I would enroll your child in a different district altogether.
