7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved from Thailand, and my son had a hard time adjusting to the new environment, new friends, and a new school. But the teachers here have been so kind and supportive. They constantly help him and always keep me updated on his progress. Even when he was sick, they reached out right away.I love joining field trips and participating in school activities with him. There’s nothing more important than knowing our elementary kids are in good hands - and here, I truly feel that they are.Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - Jackson-Reed High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo support for teachers. Asks to teach courses that require specialized training without providing training. Administration uses the unfair evaluation system to separate teachers they don't like even though those teachers performed above and beyond to produce impressive test scores. There is no parking available for teachers. 30 students in a classroom that can accommodate 20 max. No instructional support for special education students.Teacher Review3mo ago11 Reviews - Oyster-Adams Bilingual School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is exceptional. They are dedicated, mission-aligned staff who respect the historical legacy that OA carries. This was the first bilingual school in the Northeast US, and every day they work to honor the Salvadorian immigrants who built this place, and all the families (from around Latin America and the world) who continue to make it incredible. I am honored to have my kids here with this team.Parent Review8mo ago35 Reviews - Check out schools near 1870 Wyoming Ave NW #501.

"Adams Morgan/Kalorama has plenty of grassy areas and also a dog park. It’s very dog friendly. There are a lot of dogs in the area so if your pet isn’t very friendly with other dogs, walks will be a little difficult. "

"Lots of buses available but some come much more frequently than others. I take 90/96 to U Street metro then take green line to Navy Yard, which ends up being 40 to 45 minutes. The drive can be anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on traffic."
