About this House

Please note, this is a furnished rental and there is no option to un-furnish or bring your own furniture.

Perched on a lovely hill overlooking a meadow and hills to the east, guests arrive at this fully remodeled modern home, conveniently situated between the historic Sonoma Plaza and Glen Ellen. If you appreciate truly indoor/outdoor living with beautiful views, and being a short hop to all that Wine Country has to offer, you will love this house and grounds.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home has one king bed in the master, two twin XLs in the second bedroom (that can easily be converted into a King), and a Queen-size Murphy bed in the third bedroom. The third bedroom can also be used as a den or office. The master bedroom and the third bedroom both have full ensuite bathrooms with double sinks. The house is fully furnished and equipped with a gourmet kitchen and bar seating as well as a dining area that seats up to 6. Or dine al fresco at the outdoor dining table that can seat up to 10. The house is equipped with high speed Wi-Fi and a large flat screen television. There is A/C and a full size washer/dryer. The outdoors is fully outfitted with 6 comfy chaise lounges, sun umbrellas, outdoor sectional sofa and chair, large dining table and chairs, and a natural gas BBQ grill.

Casa Blanca, built in the 1950's, has been recently renovated to today's modern standards with a mid-century flair. The private grounds have been beautifully landscaped with a stunning swimming pool, massive deck, and a beautiful lawn.
Casa Blanca welcomes you with an abundance of natural light and an open floor plan. Expansive bifold patio windows connect you with the outside for truly seamless open-air living. Dine al fresco, take a dip in the modern solar heated swimming pool, sunbathe on the chaise lounges, fire up the BBQ, play croquet or badminton on the lovely lawn, and lounge on the outdoor sofa with a glass of wine. Please note the pool is only able to be heated by the solar heater April- October.

Casa Blanca is not a party house; Sonoma county has zoning and noise ordinances and we observe quiet time from 10pm to 8am. The maximum number of people on the property is 10, for sleeping it is 6. There is parking for three cars in the front driveway and two more in the side driveway.
All leases require a minimum 31-day rental. Is a 31 day rental too long for just your family? Share the time with extended family or friends, so that all of you can enjoy what Sonoma and surrounding wine country has to offer. The weather and setting at Casa Blanca is spectacular and not to be missed!

Furnished, 31+ days or longer minimum *PRICE VARIES DEPENDING ON SEASON* Tenant responsible for the cost of PG&E and propane.

"Close to everything! Lots of hiking trails, fun activities and a bunch of California history!! The restaurants are fabulous. A plethora of amazing cuisine. If you enjoy wine there’s lots of that here too. I used to enjoy this small town I was born and raised in. It is very crowded with tourists on the weekends, I suggest walking on the weekends. You’ll be glad you did!"
  • Kerrigan A.
"Sonoma does not have anything to offer when it comes to anything outside of Whole Foods and boutique shops. "
  • Marinmike7302
"I drive to Petaluma to catch the train to San Rafael. You NEVER want to drive on Hwy37 - it will make you life miserable. The local roads are clogged with agricultural & commercial traffic. HORRIBLE!"
  • Jacksonrl8
"I work from home so do not have to commute to work every day. The commute into SF can take 1.5 - 2 hrs. "
  • Babsmv
"I've been here for about 4 years and love it. People are friendly and although Sonoma is a tourist destination, it still has a small town feel. "
  • Amy W.
"Walk or drive. I live and work in the city of Sonoma. I can not walk to my sons preschool because cars drive way too fast in residential neighborhoods. There is not a sidewalk on all of the streets."
  • Sean P.
