2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my experience as an alumnus of the school, i would say... there were some teachers that cared... and there's most of them who didn't including the principal... the quality of education was terrible when I attended from 94-97.. the athletic department sucked as well up until 1997 when our basketball team finally made it to the 4A state championship and finished as runner-ups.. Anyways, the teachers and subs were just there to get paid.. i watched a teacher when I was a senior in algebra 2/triganometry class working on his golf swing as he was prepping for retirement or something lol.Fights were always happening during lunch or after school.. I hated the school to the core.. i was a track runner at the time and Bowie, Eleanor Roosevelt or Suitland HS could've used some talent like meOther Review8mo ago20 Reviews - Glenridge Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI feel like this school can be very wild sometimes but it has it's traits my child who is currently in 6th grade goes here and he gets picked on by girls and the teachers talk to them about that so I feel like I can trust them with my child he has gone to this school since prek and nothing hasn't really gone bad but one thing I'd like to say is te school has to inform parents about things that are occuring because they usually do stuff do late which I can't follow up in conculsion this school is very diverse and nice.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 7714 Cross St.

"It's more car-friendly. But there are mero buses Monday - Friday. I am not sure about the weekend and during holidays. If I remember correctly I do not think they run during the weekend and holidays."

"Older neighborhood. Not many children. Friendly caring neighbors who take care of one another. One street in and out of subdivision is a bonus. "

"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for almost 3 years, great houses but not so good schools. Love the location and the stores around, but not a fan of traffic around the roads. Honestly there is really great parks even though some neighborhoods can be troublesome."

"It is not too diverse but not bad at all, in DC area this is the most affordable area and it is not as bad as people think or say, it is very calm and quiet. You definitely need a car to get around I have lived for a year on transit and couldn’t do it anymore so eventually got a car."
