Read what parents are saying about Glenridge Elementary SchoolI feel like this school can be very wild sometimes but it has it's traits my child who is currently in 6th grade goes here and he gets picked on by girls and the teachers talk to them about that so I feel like I can trust them with my child he has gone to this school since prek and nothing hasn't really gone bad but one thing I'd like to say is te school has to inform parents about things that are occuring because they usually do stuff do late which I can't follow up in conculsion this school is very diverse and nice.
Posted by a parent on 2/3/2024To the woman at the front desk in the office. "YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE" You are very rude, and disrespectful. You should be ashamed of yourself talking to students and parents in such a disrespectful manner. There needs to be a position shift because obviously you have been there for far to long.
Posted by a parent on 5/30/2023Great teaching staff, poor administration. 5 Star for the teachers, negative 1 star for the administration.
Posted by a community member on 6/4/2019This school is terrible! The teachers do not get any support. They get degraded by the Principal in front of the children and parents. There is at least one teacher a year that gets picked on by the Principal and her followers. Some teachers are specifically given a job of spying on the teachers and reporting back. Lies are constantly made up about the teachers. The teachers never know what they did to be on the bad side. The children run the school. The administration doesn't provide any help with discipline.
Posted by a community member on 12/28/2012This school front office all the way to the vice principal need training in customer service. The teachers are screaming at the students. The staff attack the parents when concerns are brought about. I would never recommend this school to parents. PARENTS CHECK WITH OTHER SCHOOLS BEFORE YOU ENROLL YOUR CHILD HERE. I TOOK MY CHILD OUT OF THIS SCHOOL.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at this school has been excellent the past 4 years since prior principal Steuwy left. The staff will go out in the community to find resources for families that are in need. They have family night, after school tutoring and principal listens to your concerns and rectifies the concerns in a timely manner. The communication amongst staff is excellent, I love the dialog of the Principal(Dr. Walker and VP( Ms. Smith), they are alwaysq on the same accord or they don't give a concrete answer without speaking to the other. No school is perfect and of course it's staff there that don't love what they do, but when you enter the premises those kids are loved and you can see it! Which is a plus for me!Parent Review1y ago - Carrollton Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school sucks. They make the children look bad for things they do. Online school with JSW is not the best. Mcps is way way more better.Parent Review3y ago - Rogers Heights Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly, I recomend this school 100%! This school provides the dicipline that children need to adapt to at an early age to ensure self-decipline when they grow. This school also does an astonishing job at providing and equal education for kids at lower, and higher learning pastes. And, this school also helps with adapting to new languges. Once I knew one student who could not speak nor understand english in the 1st grade. However, by the time he was in middle 2nd grade, he could speak english fluently. I myself was shocked! Teachers in this school are 100% against discrimination, prejudice and racism and staff take it VERY seriously aswell. And, Staff do an outstanding job making sure your child has the transportation to come in and out of school. Looking for a school were your child can feel accepted? Rogers heights is the place!Parent Review1y ago - Templeton Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis has to be the worst school I've ever encountered starting from the principle down. The principal takes zero accountability, they fail to meet legal requirements for IEPS, they have teachers who arent even certified in the building. CRI program is awful as wellParent Review5mo ago
