My experience at this school has been excellent the past 4 years since prior principal Steuwy left. The staff will go out in the community to find resources for families that are in need. They have family night, after school tutoring and principal listens to your concerns and rectifies the concerns

Posted by a parent on 3/22/2016My child struggled at this school. As much as I asked for extra help for her I was brushed aside. Their math aid only had time for TAG students. Teachers didnt want to communicate with me and the principal made excuses. We moved to another county and my daughter has since flourished.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is autistic and just had his 1st year here. He is going into 1st grade. He did PK3 & PK4 at 2 other schools before this. In PK3 he was in a special ed class. In PK4 he was in an inclusive classroom, but it wasn't well resourced. Now that he's at Lamont, he has teachers who love him, resources from the school, parents who show up for events & support when things need to get done. He has an IEP and at his meeting there were so many staff there for support, it felt like they actually cared about our child, which isn't what we've experienced st the other schools.
