There is a landscaped yard in the front and a large yard in the back with fruit trees. The portion of the yard between the front house and the cottage is shared between the occupants of the front house and the cottage, and the portion behind the cottage is for the cottage occupants and can be used for gardening and relaxing outdoors.

The location is quite convenient: 5-minute walk to Ashby BART, 7-minute walk to Berkeley Bowl, Walgreens, Farmer's Market. It's also a short walk/ride up to the Whole Foods on telegraph and the Elmwood neighborhood on College Ave. It's a great location for commuting to work or school in Berkeley, Oakland and San Francisco, with easy access to UC Berkeley. Parking is available on the street. The cottage has a walk score of 93% and a bike score of 98%, so most if not all errands can be done within an easy walking or biking distance.

Available now. Water and garbage are an additional $100 per month. Remaining utilities (PG&E, Internet, and cable if desired) are tenant's responsibility. Move in would be first and last month's rent and utilities plus a $2,900 deposit (for a total of $8,900).
