Both my sons went to this school. 1. Dr. Teresa Pallitto- is very involved with the kids and the over all safety and activities in school. If you have questions about anything, she will give you a direct answer or find the answer for you if she doesn't have it yet.-she helps direct traffic in the morning -when I asked her about an incident that happened at the park but off campus (my kids were not involved but I was concerned about the safety of the kids since it was near the school). She explained what happened and what steps they have taken. She was on top of it and gave me assurance that the students safety weren't in any way compromised-she knows every kid in campus and greets them all the time2. Lina Ortiz, attendance office -another staff that is very involved and knowledgeable about the school and kids. Kids like her*when my kids and I became homeless, Ms Ortiz and along with other teachers and staff, Ms. Middough & Liz Wilberg, all helped my kids do their independent study and gave me resources to help us

I will rate El Camino High School 2 stars because honestly, this school has some mean, impolite, disrespectful, rude, ignorant, immature, and desperate kids. From my experience as a student in El Camino High School, there were times where I got bullied, there were times where I got intimidated by kids and that some of them would stare at me weird in which it makes my anxiety even worse, there were times where my school issues never got solved the way I wanted it to be because my parents and the staffs in my school never done something enough to solve it, and I have to deal with one of my most annoying and immature classmate that I deal with every day. If you don't want to be judged at, criticized, bullied, or intimidated by some mean kids, then don't come to this school and find another school that has the most 5-star rating and that is full of nicer students. Find a nice school, a good school. I don't recommend this school at all.

Junipero Serra is a great school community that extends beyond the classroom. This school includes the parents, dedicated staff and culture of encouragement and inclusivity. There are many fun and educational events like family nights, fairs and volunteer opportunities that strengthen connection among students, families and educators. I have had the honor and privilege of having my children attend this school. With my last child at Junipero Serra, I can say with confidence that he feels supported academically and emotionally. Because of Junipero Serra, my children have developed confidence and love for learning that will stay with them beyond their school years.
