I have had 2 daughters in the Dual language program at LVE starting in Kindergarten and it’s been an amazing experience for our family. Our daughters are being challenged and supported by top tier educators and counselors. I recommend the LVE Dual Language department to all of my friends. I’m very grateful and proud of the leadership skills and experiences that my daughters have been given.

The situation at Marshall High School reflects significant challenges that hinder both student motivation and overall educational effectiveness. While there is potential for the school to thrive, systemic issues within the administration, faculty, and teaching methodologies have created an environment that is less than conducive to student success. Administrators often exhibit disrespectful behavior towards students, fostering an atmosphere of intimidation rather than support. This disregard for professional etiquette diminishes the respect and trust that are essential for a positive educational environment.There is a troubling tendency for both teachers and administrators to provide inconsistent information. For instance, a teacher may grant one student permission for a specific activity while denying another under similar circumstances. This inconsistency not only undermines student trust but also creates confusion and frustration.The administrative team appears to struggle with organization and communication. Frequent miscommunication and unclear policies contribute to an environment where students feel unsupported and undervalued. This lack of clarity can lead to increased anxiety and disengagement among students.The absence of effective social-emotional support mechanisms exacerbates the challenges faced by students. Rather than feeling encouraged and understood, many students report feelings of dread associated with school, stemming from administrative pressures, excessive workloads, and a pervasive sense of inadequacy.A lack of encouragement and acknowledgment from administration can lead to diminished enthusiasm for learning. When students feel that their efforts are unrecognized, their motivation to engage in academic activities wanes.The challenges at Marshall High School are deeply intertwined with the administrative approach and its impact on student well-being. Addressing these issues through respect, accountability, and emotional support is essential for creating a more positive and motivating educational experience. Reforming the current environment will better enable students to thrive academically and personally.

Besides the principal the communication is horrible! I left a review on google. This year for my child has just left a sour taste.
