The teachers are absolutely exceptional and are wonderful at keeping parents and families informed and involved with curriculum. The specialists are amazing and the administrators have been incredible

Posted by a parent on 8/19/2021I don't like this school I feel my daughter. It's always sad to came to this school!!The teachers they are so rude, the cafeteria it's been in construction for a year!! The gym it's very old like 70's. The playground it old too!! Everything in Leon valley elementary it's very old!

LEON VALLEY AND NISD IN GENERAL ONLY CARES ABOUT THE FUNDINGS AND CAN CARE LESS IF YOUR CHILD RECEIVES THE SERVICES NEEDED. YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO SUCCEED STAY AWAY FROM THE DISTRICT. I

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSST does not hold students accountable for their actions. They have this thing that they suppose to live by called Narwhal MAGIC which stands for moral compass, accountability, generosity, innovation, citizenship. Well let me tell you the same students who steals was able to use a magic ticket to get a reward and go to the school dance all in the same week that he stole items from another classmate. This is not the first time the student took something that wasn’t his. He actually opened up my child belongings and took whatever he wanted. What kind of student characters are they building at this school? Do they really believe in MAGIC….You get rewards for being a thief. Puzzling. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at Glenoaks and my brother was as well, and I have felt a lot of improvement in him and myself. The teacher and staff are amazing and helpful as well. While there was a lot of drama I was still learning very well and the staff and admin were incredibly helpful with those situations.
