Glenoaks Elementary School

SST does not hold students accountable for their actions. They have this thing that they suppose to live by called Narwhal MAGIC which stands for moral compass, accountability, generosity, innovation, citizenship. Well let me tell you the same students who steals was able to use a magic ticket to get a reward and go to the school dance all in the same week that he stole items from another classmate. This is not the first time the student took something that wasn’t his. He actually opened up my child belongings and took whatever he wanted. What kind of student characters are they building at this school? Do they really believe in MAGIC….You get rewards for being a thief. Puzzling. No disciplinary action from the school staff and that’s why it’s a secret. Hope everyone else children are safe.

Decent school but when it comes to drop off and pick it up it’s the worst thing I have ever seen…. People cutting line or parking in the line and getting off to get kids….. organization is definitely not a strong suit here

The Holmgreen Center is one of the best places that I have ever worked. Every staff member on that campus is dedicated to helping each student be the best that they can be. I have never worked at any where that cares so much for every individual student and does whatever it takes to make sure each student is successful.

My two grown children attended here and my youngest is in 2nd grade now. This school has always been supportive and inclusive. I love the teachers and staff. They are amazing!

Colby Glass Elementary is an incredible school, and the reason we chose to buy our house in this area of San Antonio. We are a military family, recently moving to San Antonio over a year ago, which has resulted in my son having attended 3 different elementary schools. Colby Glass has been by far the best elementary school he has attended, even exceeding my high expectations. He has had guidance support as a new student, is being taught at an advanced level for his age, and has thrived socially by attending all of the wonderful events the school has organized. Choosing to settle down in this school district has been the greatest blessing, for both my son at Glass and my daughter at Pat Neff (special shout out to the Neff MS Band, which has nurtured my daughter into being a brilliant trumpet player). If given a choice between any schools in area, I would choose Glass every time. Also, they are almost finished with the construction of a new gymnasium, which will only add to brilliance of this school!

My child has been attending Shepherd for many years. Our experience has been exceptional. The teachers are truly invested in my child's growth. Small class sizes, excellent Christ-centered curriculum, teachers and staff know my child's name. Shepherd integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasizes the importance of values, and helps foster my child's love of Jesus.The school has made such a difference in our lives. It is more than just a school and it is truly a family and a community.
